While the Brown family embraces a homestead lifestyle closer to the land, the Covington family navigates life in a suburban Namibian community with modern amenities and business pursuits. Together, their stories offer two distinct perspectives on diaspora life in Namibia. The documentary also examines the real challenges they have encountered along the way, including the ongoing difficulty of securing long-term residency and stability while seeking to establish roots in the country they now call home.
